Mrs Durston invites pupils to blog a book review comment on a book that they have recently read. Please include the title and author in your review. The theme for this month is animal stories, so if you have any favourite books about  animals get commenting!!!!

  1. Ellie the homesick puppy by Holly Webb. My favourite part is when Ellie goes to Megan’s granny’s house but she doesn’t like sid (the cat) so she runs away. Megan is worried but she looks everywhere but then finds Ellie at her best friends house.😊😃😄😊😃😄😊😃😄😊😃😄😊😃😄😊😃😄😊😃😄😊😃😄😊😃😄😊😃😄😊😃😄😊😃😄😊😃😄😊😃😄😊

  3. I read The Lorax by Dr. Seuss. My favourite bit was when the Once-ler made the thneeds out of the trees called Truffula trees with his family.

  4. Monkey Puzzle by Julia Donelson my favourite part is when the monkey finds his mum I would recommend it to Juniors, Seniors and first class🐒

  7. The Tiger Who Came To Tea by Judith Kerr. I can’t choose a favourite part of this book it’s great,it’s brilliant it’s the best book I’ve ever read.

  8. I would reccomend The Pony Whisperer, The Word On The Yard by Janet Rising. The best part is when Pia finds out she can talk to her own pony and other people’s ponies too! 🐴⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  10. I am reading Tilly’s Moonlight Fox. My favourite part so far is when Tilly discoveres another garden at the back of her own.

  11. Maisy’s pool by Lucy Cousins. My favourite part is when the elephant jumps in the pool. The main character Maisy is a mouse.

  23. Night Time Animals by Angela Royston. The most interesting fact is that a scorpion blends in with the sand in the day and at night the scorpion catches insects and then stings it.

  24. Discover more penguins by Penelope Arlen. The most interesting fact is that an emperor penguin is as tall as seven year old child. Emperor penguins can dive to depths of 500 metres.

  26. My First Pony Care,By Judith Draper. THIS BOOK is good for people who love or like horse .It gives you lots of good information.

  27. My book is The children’s Encyclopedia Animals.(This book does not say who wrote it). THIS BOOK HAS 223 pages and I would say it is for 4 class and up as it is a very hard read how ever it is a good book and perents could read it for you!!
